Diet

The diet is the sum of food and drink consumed by a person. Dietary habits are the habitual intake or consumption, influenced by an individual or culture when choosing what foods to eat.

Diet also refers to an eating plan for medical reasons with the goal of making one's body more healthy.

The act of restricting food intake or intake of particular foods or eating sparingly to lose weight is also called as a Diet.
